Welcome to Vardhman's "Backwater Tours of Kerala". On arrival
in Cochin, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative
to your hotel.

Day 02: Cochin - Munnar ( By Road 130 km in 4 hr )
This morning after breakfast drive to Munnar. Enjoying the scenic
beauty & the marvelous waterfalls, high mountains with the low
flying clouds passing by. Afternoon, Boat ride in the lake.

Day 03: Munnar - Anamudi - Munnar
After breakfast proceed on a city tour of Munnar
Visit tea plantations, Anamudi, Eravikulam National Park, Devikulam,
Mattupetty, Pallivasal, Pothamedu, Attukal etc.

Day 04 : Munnar - Periyar ( By Road 110 km in 3 hr. )
This morningafter breakfast drive to Periyar. Enroute visit
Idukki dam. On arrival check in at hotel. Periyar wildlife sanctuary
is home to nomadic tribes of wild elephant, boar, deer, the great
Indian tiger and more. Evening go for boat cruise in the lake to
watch wild animals.

Day 05: Periyar
This morning after breakfast boating through Periyar lake -
Wildlife sanctuary. You can visit the rare species of plants and
animals. Afternoon visit spice plantations like cardamom, cinnamon,
pepper, coffee, tea estates etc. on your way back to the hotel,
you could stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices.
Since the next day had been planned for Kumarakom backwater tours,
after drinking the essence of nature today, you will be feeling
to go for a good sleep which makes you smile by the sweetest experiences
on the shore.

Day 06: Periyar - Kumarakom ( By Road 130 km in 4 hr. )
After breakfast drive to Kumarakom. Reach and visit the Bird
Sanctuary. Proceed to the Vembanand Lake. The backwaters of Kerala
are a unique product of Kerala and are found nowhere else in the
world. Kumarakom Backwaters too are a network of lakes, canals and
estuaries and deltas of forty-four rivers that drain into the Arabian
Sea. The backwaters of Kerala are a self supporting Eco-system teeming
with aquatic life. The canals connect the villages together and
are still used for local transport. Over 900 km of this labyrinthine
water world is navigable. Cruise through the backwaters to Alleppey.
Kumarakom backwaters are there to silently embark the beauty signals
spotted by the God of Nature.

Day 07: Kumarakom/House Boat Cruise
After enjoying your day six in Kumarakom backwaters, today also
you will be cruising through the Kumarkom Backwater Tours.

Day 8: Alleppey
Disembark the boat at the reception of the backwater resort
at Alleppey. Check in at the resort. This resort is one of the finest
one in Alleppey Here you can enjoy the lively villages and backwaters.

Day 9:Alleppey - Cochin
After breakfast drive to cochin. Upon arrival at Cochin check
into your hotel.
Later proceed on a city tour of Cochin.
Visit Spice & Fish market, Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St.Francis
Church, Bolghatty, Gunda and Willington Islands, Mattancherry Palace.
Evening enjoy Kathakali dance performance.

Day 10:Cochin Departure
This morning after breakfast transfer to the Cochin airport /
railway station to catch Flight / Train for your onward destination
